Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
StandCard (“the app”) is operated by Rebase Interactive, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains what the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is designed to be private by default — we collect as little as possible and anonymize wherever we can.
The short version
- You can use StandCard anonymously — no name, email, or account required to start.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use advertising or cross-app tracking.
- We use one privacy-preserving analytics service that is designed not to identify you (see Analytics, below).
- The data you create (your scores, venues, and courses) is stored so it can sync to your devices, and it stays yours.
- You can delete your account and data from within the app at any time.
Information we collect
Account information. On first launch the app creates an anonymous account identifier so your data can be saved and synced. You may optionally upgrade to a signed-in account using email and password or Sign in with Apple if you want to be recognized across devices or be invitable by others. If you sign in, we store the associated email address (or the relay address Apple provides).
Content you create. Scorecards, rounds, and the venues, courses, and shooter names you enter into the app. This content is what the app exists to keep for you.
Venue locations. If you add a venue and choose to use your current position, the app asks for your permission and takes a one-time location fix; the resulting coordinates and address are stored as part of the venue you created. That is the only time the app accesses your device’s location — we never track your location in the background, and location is never used for advertising.
Information about other people. As the scorekeeper, you may enter other people’s names on your scorecards (for example, your squadmates). Those names are stored as part of your content and are visible to you and anyone you score with. If your name appears in another user’s scorecards and you would like it removed, contact us at support@standcard.app.
Technical information. Authentication tokens and basic identifiers required to keep you signed in and to sync your data. We do not use advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking.
Usage analytics. A limited set of anonymized, non-identifying usage signals, described under Analytics below.
How we use information
- To provide the core service: recording scores and syncing your data across your devices.
- To keep your account secure and signed in.
- To understand, anonymously and in aggregate, how the app is used so we can improve it (see Analytics).
- To respond to support requests you send us.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.
Analytics
To understand how the app is used and where to improve it, StandCard uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service designed so that usage data is not tied to your identity:
- No identity, no tracking. We use no advertising identifiers, cookies, or cross-app/cross-site tracking, and we never send your name, email, account ID, or the content you create to analytics.
- What is collected: a hashed per-installation identifier that is not derived from your name, email, or account; the app and operating-system version and device type; and a timestamp rounded to the hour.
- What events we send: a fixed, limited set of usage signals — for example, first launch, a round started, completed, or ended early, a shooter or venue added, and whether an account was linked by email or Apple. The only details attached are the shooting discipline and simple counts (such as a station count) — never personal information.
- IP addresses: TelemetryDeck states that it does not store IP addresses — not in logs, and not in its database.
- TelemetryDeck’s analytics SDK is open source, and TelemetryDeck (operated by TelemetryDeck GmbH, Germany) processes this data on our behalf as a data processor. See TelemetryDeck’s privacy policy for details.
Because this data is not linked to your identity, it helps us improve the app while staying “not about you.”
Where your data is stored
StandCard stores data on your device and in Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which acts as our data processor. The app is offline-first: your data is written locally first and synchronized to Firebase when you have connectivity. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own terms. Aside from Google Firebase and TelemetryDeck (our anonymized-analytics processor, described above), the app relies on no other third-party sub-processors.
Sharing
We share information only:
- With Google Firebase, our infrastructure provider, to operate the service.
- With TelemetryDeck, our analytics processor, limited to the anonymized usage data described under Analytics.
- If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the app.
We never sell your personal information.
Retention and deletion
Your content is retained while your account exists. You can delete your account and associated data directly in the app (Settings → delete account). This removes your account, your shooter profile, the squads you created and the scores you recorded in them, and the unclaimed shooter profiles you created.
Some content you contributed to shared data is not removed, because other people rely on it: venues and courses you added remain available to other users, scores you recorded in a squad created by another account remain part of that squad, and a shooter profile you created that another person has since claimed now belongs to them. You may also contact us at support@standcard.app with any data request.
Children’s privacy
StandCard is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard measures provided by our infrastructure, including encrypted transport and authenticated access. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
Your choices and rights
- Use the app anonymously, without providing identifying information.
- Access and edit the content you create within the app.
- Delete your account and data from within the app.
- Contact us to ask about the data associated with your account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
